Herbert Head

Prior to starting Grisanti-Head Commercial Real Estate, Herb served as a Senior Advisor for Sperry Van Ness/Ward Commercial Group.  In fact, prior to leaving Sperry Van Ness, Herb was tied with his current partner Paul Grisanti as the top agent in the office and ranked 14th in the region, (East of the Mississippi).

Herb is a licensed Broker and specializes in the sale of Self Storage, Retail, Land, Industrial and Investment Properties in the Greater Louisville Regional area including both Kentucky and Indiana.   

Herb’s background in high tech, as a former Project Manager with Lucent Technologies, has given him the skill and experience to implement an extensive array of virtual services for his clients. 

Herb’s diverse background has allowed him to relate to many aspects of his clients needs.  Herb’s experience ranges from owning a restaurant and consulting company in Anchorage, Alaska, to serving over 9 years in the military as an Infantry Officer and a Foreign Area Officer to South Asia.    

Herb graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a B.S. in Industrial Technology and Minor in Military Science.  He is active in his community as the Executive Chairperson for the Oldham County Chamber of Commerce; a member of the LaGrange Rotary Club, Property Valuation Administration (PVA) Appeals Board, local CCIM Chapter, and the Oldham County Friends of the Fair.

Herb is currently a CCIM Candidate and plans on sitting for the final exam this year (2006).

Paul Grisanti

Paul is a licensed Broker in Kentucky specializing in land, retail, industrial and investment properties representing Buyers, Sellers, Landlords and Tenants.  Paul also holds an Indiana Commercial Real Estate License.

 

Paul’s services have included retail and industrial site selection for both local and national firms.

 

Additionally, by virtue of his appointment to the Board of Zoning Adjustment of Louisville Metro by Mayor Abramson in 2004, Paul has gained vast knowledge of the planning and zoning process including Conditional Use Permits, Variances and Waivers.

 

When Paul left his former office, he was the top agent, tied with his partner Herb Head, for the number one spot in the office and 14th in the region.

 

Paul also has served others in the hospitality industry for nearly 30 years. Paul owned and managed Ferd Grisanti Restaurant from 1973 until going into the commercial real estate business in 2002.  His philosophy of exceeding expectations has served him well in both the hospitality industry and the real estate industry.

 

Paul also has experience in the wholesale liquor industry, working in sales for a year and a half for the Vertner Smith Company (now Commonwealth Wine and Spirits). Paul has gained vast experience in sales and customer service throughout his professional career.

 

Paul has been very active in the community, serving on numerous boards and volunteer projects including: three terms as President of the Jeffersontown Chamber of Commerce; Board member of Catholic Cemeteries; Board member of the Kentucky Restaurant Association; Fund Raiser for Church of the Ascension Building Project; and participant in various fund raising projects for groups such as Dare to Care, Cystic Fibrosis and Multiple Sclerosis Society.

 

Paul holds a degree in business administration from Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY.

 

Paul is currently a CCIM Candidate, having completed all coursework for this prestigious certification, and plans on sitting for the final exam later this year (2006).

Tom Meredith

 

Tom Meredith serves as Business Manager for Grisanti-Head Commercial Real Estate. Tom oversees the back end of the office, handling research, marketing and operations. Tom is instrumental in providing our clients with property information critical to their investment decisions. He has a broad knowledge of the use of various databases to gather the information necessary to develop the packaging for listings as well as background research into potential purchases. As a lifelong resident of the area, he has a distinct knowledge of the city along with its direction, traffic patterns and an understanding of growth trends.

 

Prior to joining Grisanti-Head Commercial Real Estate, Meredith spent 5 years with RE/MAX Commercial Brokers and Sperry Van Ness as a Sales Associate and Manager in the Louisville office. Working with various types of clients, he handled tenant and landlord representation as well as buyer and seller rep. He leased office and industrial space and handled the purchase of investment properties for local attorneys. He specialized in working with small businesses and his business background added an important perspective for his clients.

 

Previously, Meredith was the Area Franchisee and Development specialist responsible for recruiting, franchise sales, site selection and training for Mail Boxes Etc.(now The UPS Store) for Kentucky. During his association with MBE he was on several national committees responsible for training franchisees in profitability and training. He also owned and operated five different MBE Center locations.

 

Tom has been involved in the Louisville Chamber of Commerce, GLI, Inc. and Business Networking International as well as Masonic organizations including Kosair Shrine and Louisville Scottish Rite. Tom attended the University of Louisville and has a broad background in wholesale and retail sales and management.

Patti Evans

Patti is a Louisville native and a seasoned agent with over 20 years of real estate experience. After graduating from Sullivan College in 1985, she began her real estate sales career in 1986 with Semonin Realtors, having had past experience investing in numerous income properties of her own. In 1987, she began appraising real estate with J. Michael Jones & Associates. Her appraising experience included single family dwellings, multi-family dwellings, small commercial/industrial properties, vacant land, special purpose, utility easements, and highway condemnation projects. She is a certified appraiser and a Realtor, licensed in Kentucky and a past member of the International Right of Way Association. Current affiliations include the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors, Kentucky Association of Realtors, and National Association of Realtors.

In 1989, Patti was instrumental in starting a new company from the ground up, with her late husband. This auto parts company is still thriving and is managed by her son and brother-in-law.

In April 2001, Patti went into full time real estate sales with Opia Properties, located in Prospect. Her sales were not limited to single family properties. Her past sales include single family, multi-family, vacant land, small commercial, leased properties, office space, and multi-use properties. With the knowledge she has gained from 20 years of sales and appraising, Patti is a truly diversified agent.

As a volunteer, Patti devotes time to Mom’s Closet and Prodigal Ministries, both of which are not for profit organizations in Louisville.
